In 2019, TASO commissioned the Bridge Group and Coventry University to review the existing evidence base for gaps in the student experience. TASO published a summary of this report in November 2020: Understanding the impact of interventions to address inequality in the student experience.
Following consideration of the report’s findings, and recommendations from the Theme 2 Working Group, TASO adopted the following research priorities:

- Online teaching and learning
