TASO’s Monitoring and Evaluation Framework (MEF) contains four main steps to consider when planning your evaluation – from establishing your Theory of Change in ‘Step 1: Diagnose’ to reporting on your findings in ‘Step 4: Reflect’.
On this page, you will find resources to help you structure and run a workshop on planning, focused on Step 2 in the MEF.
Run your own planning workshop
In Step 2 of the evaluation process, you will need to use your Theory of Change to develop the questions that your evaluation will seek to answer. These overarching questions will determine the scope and approach of your evaluation.
We have put together a pack to help you structure and run a workshop on planning.
Included in the pack below:
- Introductory reading
- Presentation slides
- Research Protocol template
