Calling higher education providers
Applications will soon open for higher education providers to collaborate on developing a theory of change for their whole provider approach to reducing risks to equality of opportunity in higher education.
Higher education providers will receive support from TASO and Professor Liz Thomas, an expert in whole provider approaches, to create theories of change summarising their whole provider approach and its intended impact.
Why participate?
This is an opportunity for higher education providers to:
- Refine their whole provider approach with technical guidance from TASO.
- Build internal evaluation expertise in crafting high-quality theories of changes.
- Contribute to sector-wide understanding of strategies that improve equality of opportunity.
What’s involved?
- Collaborate with TASO and Professor Liz Thomas through a series of meetings and workshops from February to March 2025.
- Work towards creating a theory of change that aligns with your access and participation plan (APP) and highlights specific outcomes and mechanisms of your whole provider approach.
- Commit time and resources to engage in workshops, provide feedback, and review outputs including theories of change and a summary report.
Who can apply?
Eligible applicants must:
- Be a registered English higher education provider in the approved (fee cap) category.
- Have included a whole provider approach in their 2024 APP submission.
- Commit to participating in workshops and contributing to project outputs.
