TASO convenes new advisory group on student mental health and wellbeing

The Mental Health and Wellbeing Advisory Group will provide insight and advice on TASO’s research and evaluation activities.

TASO has launched an advisory panel made up of experts working in the area of student mental health and wellbeing in higher education. The panel will advise on current practice and policy implications, and provide challenge and quality assurance to TASO.

The group has been set up in support of TASO’s three flagship projects this year: 

• Randomised controlled trials to evaluate wellbeing interventions prompted by analytics
• The evaluation of mental health and wellbeing interventions using theory-based methods
• The evaluation of mental health interventions using quasi-experimental designs 

The group will discuss key themes and ideas relating to the projects and inform TASO’s broader thinking in student mental health.
