In response to the unprecedented circumstances surrounding COVID-19, the Centre for Transforming Access and Student Outcomes in Higher Education (TASO) has decided to postpone its 2020 evaluation of summer schools.

Higher education providers that submitted successful applications have been invited to take part in a randomised control trial (RCT) of summer schools in 2021.

TASO is exploring alternative research activities for 2020 and will draw on the expertise of its Theme Working Groups and Sector Network during this process. There are no planned changes to this year’s multi-intervention outreach and mentoring research project.

TASO would like to thank all providers that submitted applications for the RCT summer school evaluation.

TASO recognises the ongoing challenges faced by many at this difficult time. TASO will be putting in place measures to connect and collaborate with the sector online over the coming months.
