
Eliza joined TASO in January 2020, having formerly helped establish the team via a secondment from the Behavioural Insights Team.
Eliza has helped shape the organisation from its inception. As Deputy CEO she is responsible for strategic decision-making and overseeing all areas of TASO’s work, with a particular focus on research and evaluation activities.
Before joining TASO Eliza worked at the Behavioural Insights Team where she designed and implemented research projects with a focus on reducing inequality in education. Eliza holds a PhD from University College London. In her academic work she uses experimental methods to test ways of improving education outcomes for disadvantaged students. Eliza has a strong interest in social mobility and a background in higher education policy.
