Katherine joined TASO in September 2024.
As an Evaluation Officer at TASO, Katherine supports the design and delivery of resources that help higher education providers strengthen their evaluation activity. This includes contributing to practical guidance, training content, and tools to support evidence-informed approaches to access and participation. She also contributes to projects that involve working with higher education providers to gather insights into their current approaches, which is then used to inform TASO’s guidance and share effective practice across the sector.
She has previously worked as an outreach practitioner within the University of Cambridge where she was involved in the organisation, delivery, and evaluation of widening participation activities. She has also worked in a sixth form college where she provided career and pastoral support to students, focusing particularly on supporting students through the university application process. Katherine is currently working towards an MEd in Education (Inclusive Practice) with the Open University, where she is exploring the role that student ambassadors play in changing student attitudes towards higher education.
