The series will be made up of practical online sessions designed to help you effectively deliver and evaluate interventions to improve equality of opportunity.

Learn ways to examine how an intervention is put into practice, why it works (or doesn’t), and for whom. You’ll cover key concepts, practical steps for data collection and reporting, and real-world case studies.
Communicating evidence through data visualisation
Paid-for training | 27 November, 10:00–16:00
Discover how to turn raw numbers into clear, accessible, and engaging visuals that influence decision-making. Through demonstrations in Excel and R, you’ll gain practical skills, take away ready-to-use templates, and learn how to avoid common pitfalls.
Impact evaluation with small cohorts
Paid-for training | 9 December, 10:00–16:00
Explore how theory-based evaluation methods can be applied when working with fewer participants. You’ll be introduced to key principles, practical planning steps, and sector examples, with the chance to start developing your own evaluation plan.
