TASO has launched a new student panel for its student mental health project, which aims to help higher education providers (HEPs) identify and make use of effective practice in supporting student mental health.
The panel will provide a valuable perspective on how the emerging evidence aligns with their experience of mental health practices in higher education. TASO will also consult the panel on key project milestones, such as the development of a digital repository which the sector can access and apply to improve the efficacy of their mental health practices.
“It is a pleasure to be convening a student panel to work alongside us on the student mental health project. The incorporation of student voice is a vital part of the research we are conducting into effective practice to support student mental health. We value the curiosity, thoughtfulness and experiences of all panel members, and want to provide opportunities for them to help influence the ways in which our digital mental health repository is viewed, used and kept relevant in the sector.”
