Call for Evidence: case studies of support for mental health
Please note, we have the extended the deadline of this call. You can find the updated version of the call here.
We are inviting higher education providers (HEPs) to submit case studies covering policy or practice initiatives designed to support student mental health in higher education.
Case studies could include initiatives such as:
- changes to service provision,
- innovation around peer mentoring or peer assisted learning,
- support for mental health crises,
- adaptation of academic processes or support for academics to adapt their approach to teaching.
We would particularly like to hear from providers who are not currently evaluating such initiatives against longer-term student outcomes (retention, progression, awarding) but are interested in doing so.
The case studies will form part of our work to help the higher education sector identify and improve practice in supporting student mental health. TASO is leading a consortium of five partners (What Works Wellbeing, Universities UK, SMaRteN, Student Minds and AMOSSHE) – funded by the Office for Students – to create a digital repository of information and resources for the sector to improve the efficacy of mental health practices.
