
Molly joined TASO as Research Manager in May 2025.
In this role, Molly is responsible for the design and management of TASO’s research and evaluation projects, including randomised controlled trials (RCTs) and quasi-experimental studies. She will also contribute to the development of open-source evaluation tools and evidence synthesis resources, supporting the higher education sector in implementing evidence-informed practices, as well as deliver external training courses on evaluation methodologies and present research findings at workshops and other stakeholder events.
Prior to joining TASO, Molly worked as a Research and Policy Coordinator at Trinity College Dublin within Trinity Access Programmes (TAP), where she led research reviews of educational outreach programmes to inform policy development.
She holds a BSc in Neuroscience from University College Dublin, and a PhD in Medical Sciences from the University of Cambridge. Her doctorate research was in the field of clinical psychology and cognitive neuroscience where she used behavioural, fMRI neuroimaging, and computational psychology methods to improve the understanding and treatment of traumatic memory in clinical conditions like post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
