Today, TASO has published a new report on the implementation of transition support and reasonable adjustments for disabled students in higher education. The report examines the experiences of a broad range of disabled students and higher education staff. To inform the report, TASO commissioned Advance HE to map the types of support available in these two key areas.

In October 2023, the Office for Students published the latest evaluation of Uni Connect, the national network that helps young people from underrepresented groups access higher education.

TASO has commissioned three higher education partners, the University of Bath, the University of Birmingham and City College Norwich to work with an evaluator, RSM UK Ltd, to develop an intervention blueprint to support disabled students’ transition to higher education.

TASO is partnering with Advance HE to map the kinds of transition support and reasonable adjustments used in the higher education (HE) sector and build an understanding of the existing evidence HE providers hold on the effectiveness of these interventions.
